CS2 Inventory — Terms of Service
Last updated: 11 October 2026.
These terms apply when you use the CS2 Inventory browser extension and its paid plans. The extension and its website, https://www.stashpeek.com, are made and run by its developer (“we”). Contact: stashpeek@gmail.com. How personal data is handled is in the privacy policy.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law of the country you live in gives you and that cannot be waived.
What CS2 Inventory is
A Chrome extension that indexes the CS2 inventory of the Steam accounts you sign in with, including what is inside your storage units, and lets you search it. The free plan shows your loose inventory and each storage unit’s name and item count. Basic opens the storage units. Ultimate adds item values, value history and the change log. The plans are described at stashpeek.com/#pricing.
Steam and Valve
CS2 Inventory is not affiliated with, endorsed or approved by Valve Corporation. It talks to Steam with the same protocol the CS2 client uses, and Valve can change that protocol or its rules at any time, including in ways that stop the extension from working. You use it with your own Steam account, and you remain responsible for that account and for following Steam’s terms. The extension never trades, lists or changes anything on your account.
Using it fairly
Use it with Steam accounts that are yours. A plan is personal: it covers every Steam account you add, but not other people’s. Do not:
- get a paid plan’s features without paying for them, for example by working around the plan check;
- overload, probe or misuse the plans server, including asking for sign-in codes to addresses that are not yours;
- resell access to a plan, or use one to run a service for others.
Plans, prices and billing
- Basic costs $5 a month and Ultimate $8 a month, in US dollars. What you pay is the price shown at checkout, including any tax that applies where you live.
- You buy a plan inside the extension, on Stripe’s checkout page. Stripe sells you the plan on our behalf as merchant of record: it takes the payment, handles VAT and sales tax, and its own terms apply to the payment.
- A plan renews every month, on the day of the month you bought it, until you cancel it, and is charged at each renewal.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails you. Until the card is updated the plan is paused, and if the payment never goes through, the plan ends.
- We may change prices. A new price applies only from your first renewal after we have emailed you about it at least 30 days ahead, and you can cancel before then.
Cancelling and refunds
- Cancel any time from the plan badge at the top of the extension, which opens Stripe’s subscription page. The plan then runs to the end of the month you paid for and is not renewed.
- Changed your mind? Email stashpeek@gmail.com within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and you get that payment back in full, with no reason needed. This is at least what the EU’s 14-day right of withdrawal gives you.
- Apart from that, and from the cases below, a month already paid for is not refunded when you cancel part-way through it, unless the law requires it.
- Everything already indexed stays in your browser after a plan ends, and stays searchable.
If the service changes or stops
We work to keep the extension working with Steam, but cannot promise it always will: Steam changes, and outages happen. If we stop offering a paid plan, or a change on Steam’s side stops a paid feature from working and we cannot restore it, we refund the unused part of your current month. The free plan is provided as it is, and may change or end at any time.
Item values
Values come from a public price list run by a third party. They are estimates, can be wrong or out of date, and are not financial advice. Do not rely on them alone when you trade.
What we are responsible for
- We are responsible without limit for harm we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever else the law does not allow responsibility to be limited.
- Otherwise, as far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you is limited to what you paid for plans in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not responsible for actions Valve takes on your Steam account or changes Valve makes to Steam; for use of your Steam sign-in by anyone with access to your browser profile, where the extension stores it unencrypted (keep that device and profile secure); or for decisions you make based on item values.
- Your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right to a service that matches its description, are not affected.
Ending your use
You can stop at any time: cancel your plan, uninstall the extension, and email us if you want your plan account deleted. We may close a plan account that breaks “Using it fairly”. If we close one for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the current month.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A change that affects paid plans is emailed to plan holders at least 30 days before it applies, and if you do not agree, you can cancel before then. The date at the top shows the current version.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, email stashpeek@gmail.com first; most problems are solved faster that way. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.

Counter-Strike, CS2 and Steam are trademarks of Valve Corporation, used here only to say what the extension works with.
